Going to one page brings up other words like "white privilege" and "systemic racism". Go ahead and google those words and read about them. This effect of learning more and seeking out more information on your own is powerful in your own education. Once you have a general basis of the way race is discussed, move onto examining your own biases: -Why do I want to learn more about race? Is it because I feel bad? Why do I feel bad? -Is my anti-racist educational conditional on my time or how much effort I want to put into something? |
